Cruises CHEAPER Than a Hotel Stay?!

Yes you read that right!  Many people consider cruises as an expensive holiday occupied by mainly old people but the truth couldn’t be much different.  In reality, hotel stays are actually one of the more expensive ways to see the world.

For example.  On a weekend away in a hotel somewhere in Europe, you are requirex to pay per night (say £130 per night).  This room fee often only includes the room, and sometimes has breakfast included if you are lucky.  The rest of your meals are required to be paid for locally as you have them.  Let’s assume you spend around £40 on lunch for 2 people, and £60 on dinner for 2 people.  This is another £100 each day, just on meals.  You decide you want to go see a show or theatre production in the evening.  Tickets for this are likely to be somewhere between £50 and £100 per person, adding another potential £200 to your holiday.  So far, just for one day you are up to £330! This is PER NIGHT.  Oh and this doesn’t include the flights and transfers required…

On a cruise, all your food, entertainment and room fees are included, with the only extras you need to pay out for drinks, speciality restaurant meals and spa treatments if you want them.  You also have a bill for gratuities at the end of the cruise.  The total nightly stay on a cruise is often less than £100 per night.  This makes a cruise vastly cheaper than going abroad to a hotel!
